For lifting equipment hire such as slings, chains and cables, visit Best at hire, your National tool hire centre.
Help make on site lifting tasks safer, easier and more efficient by sourcing all the lifting equipment and accessories you need, including top quality lifting slings, chain slings and cables. Our extensive portfolio of chain slings, hoist ropes, lifting-pulling machine cables, and wire rope or polyester slings complements our main lifting gear hire range. We can advise you on the items that are intended for use in conjunction with particular lifting hoists and related equipment to ensure the safety of your workers.
Chain slings are often chosen for work in high temperatures or tough conditions where slings made of other materials would quickly be destroyed. All of our chain slings are made from grade 80 heavy duty steel. There are also shortening clutches available – please ask if you need these. We have single leg, two leg, three leg and four leg chain slings in various lengths and diameters.
Our range of high quality steel hoist ropes are manufactured to the very highest standards and come fitted with a hook. We offer a good variety of lengths ranging from 20 metres up to 80 metres.
Lifting-pulling machine cables
We hire out TU8, TU16 and TU32 lifting – pulling machine cable in various lengths up to 80 metres, made of quality purpose-built steel rope fitted with hook or shackle fittings - intended for use with our Tirfor winches.
Wire rope slings
We also stock wire rope slings fitted with a soft eye at each end, enabling stress-free, easy lifting., including models with safe working loads of between two and 10 tonnes.
Our lightweight, flexible yet high strength 100% polyester webbing slings have the ability to absorb shock loads and limit damage to delicate and painted surfaces.
